Fruml Documentation...
The following guide is a simplified view of the steps required to install Fruml on your web server. To complete these steps, you will need a suitable application to extract zipped files, such as such as the freely available 7-Zip, as well as an FTP client, such as the freely available Filezilla FTP Client in order to upload the Fruml application files to your remote web server.
Before downloading and installing Fruml, you should first check that your web server meets the minimum requirements needed to run Fruml successfully. You can check this by downloading and running the Fruml Compatibility Checker script on your web server.
Visit the Fruml download page to download the latest version of the Fruml Content Management System. Extract the files contained within the downloaded zip file to your computer.
Upload all of the Fruml files to your web server. You can upload them to any directory you choose.
Ensure that the fruml/data directory is writable. In Linux, a 'chmod 777 fruml/data' should suffice. If using FTP, right-click the data folder and set the permissions to 777.
Using the control panel provided by your web host, create a new database. Create a new user or assign an existing user to the database and grant the user full rights. Make a note of the database name, user name, and user password as you will need these for the Fruml installation script.
Browse to the Fruml directory to automatically begin running the step-by-step installer.
