Beta Testing!

We're currently gearing up to releasing a beta version!

The beta version will be downloadable from the Fruml.com site, and will allow people not familiar with mercurial to install and run the system.

Before we release a beta though, we'd like to test the beta in a smaller group of users. Sort of a beta beta, if you will :)

So, we're currently looking for beta testers who would like to help out by testing the system from download, through the install process and in actual use. What kind of testers are we looking for? Well, a little technical skill would be handy for helping us trace any bugs you might find. Ideally you'd be willing to test it on a number of different browsers and server platforms. Patience is a boon :)

I'll try to get the zip file out to you today. Might be tomorrow though, as I have to clean some things up in the install process first.

I've updated quite a lot of stuff in Fruml since I wrote this post, so I need to package a new zip file for the beta.
I'll do that this weekend (somewhere on Saturday) and then send it to you.
